The number of Kumaoni migrants in the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan in 1959 was 100. Most migrants from Uttarakhand used to live in the city of Jaipur city, in the zohari market, Paanch-bhatti, dada bari and N.B.C Colony area. In the city of Jaipur, 1955-1956, the Kurmanchal committee by the Negi brothers, the hill society by Dr. Pandey in the year 1962, in the year 1965-66, Shivani Cultural Society by Shri Kunwar Singh Gurthia, , in the year 1969-70, Kumaon Navyuvak mandal by Shri Heera Singh Bora, And in the year 1971-72, with the help of Shankar Dutt Joshi and Shri Dilip Singh Bisht, formed a forum of Parvatiya Samaj. On August 8, 1971, first General Assembly elections were conducted , and constituted a commettie by name Kumaon Ramleela Mahotsav Committee Jaipur .
